Digital Content/ Marketing Intern

Part-time, eligible for college credit (unpaid)

Work with a nonprofit like no other! Expand your digital portfolio of work and experience while making
a big difference in a small nonprofit! Print the Love is a Minneapolis-based nonprofit, who does
international work, founded in 2015. Print the Love’s mission is to celebrate the value and dignity of
individuals in under-resourced communities through the gift of an instant photograph.

Digital Content/ Marketing Intern Responsibilities:

  • Develop digital exclusive content
  • Write blog and email newsletters
  • Maintain online database
  • Repackage and/or edit existing content
  • Assist on social media development/execution
  • Fulfill on monthly content distribution strategy and tactics
  • Various tasks as assigned
  • Possibility to travel with teams

Desired Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience using an email marketing platform like MailChimp
  • Experience with Social Media (specifically Instagram and Pinterest)
  • Experience with Word, Excel, Google Drive
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must be extremely detail oriented with strong attention to follow-through
  • Ability to work independently
  • Experience with Squarespace
  • Experience with SEO
  • A positive attitude and flexibility for changing priorities
  • Creative thinking
  • Eagerness to learn
  • Passion for brand and digital content and nonprofits

Development/Events Intern

  • Research Grantmakers
  • Write Letters of Inquiry and Assemble Grant Materials
  • Plan and Manage Seasonal Fundraising Event
  • Including getting event Sponsorship, ticketing, promotional materials, organize volunteers, and all other logistics
  • Various tasks as assigned
  • Possibility to travel with teams

Desired Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience with events
  • Experience with grants
  • Experience with Word, Excel, Google Drive
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Must be extremely detail oriented with strong attention to follow-through
  • Ability to work independently
  • A positive attitude and flexibility for changing priorities
  • Creative thinking
  • Eagerness to learn
  • Passion for nonprofits
