What We Do
The impact of Print the Love is felt across people groups, ages, races, cultures and languages. To be able to print photographs instantly opens up doors to show love! It serves those who normally wouldn’t be able to receive such a gift. No other nonprofit does what Print the Love does!
To fulfill our mission, we offer service-learning volunteer trips, lend out cameras to self-trekking ambassadors, and send film and equipment to international NGOs directly.
We adhere to ethical photography practices and ONLY work with local community leaders and NGOs.
-
Serving Children
Children in many under-resourced communities are marginalized and often not celebrated for who they are. We want to change that! Self-worth is important for emotional and social development. Very few children get school photos taken or have any record of their childhood. In addition, if a child were to be lost or taken, there would be a photograph to help find him or her.
-
Encouraging Patients
New mothers in maternity wards around the globe rarely have access to photographs of their newborns and this lifechanging event. Others who are losing a loved one would like to cherish the last moments they have together. Even those in the hospital for more minor issues feel the value of the gift as a break in the day with warmth of a smile. All feel encouraged that they are not forgotten in a difficult time.
-
Supporting Relief Efforts
Many Individuals who have been through natural disasters or war have lost everything, including personal belongings and family treasures. Print the Love is able to help them rebuild emotionally by giving them new keepsakes.
-
Advocating for Families
Family photos have always been treasured. Children grow up fast, family members pass away. Life moves quickly and celebrating the ones we love is vital to family life. Keeping genealogical records of families is important as well.
What Sets Print the Love Apart?
No other nonprofit does what Print the Love does!
We practice ethical photography.
Founded by a humanitarian, not a photographer.
We ask for nothing in return from recipients.

“Print the Love is doing something really unique. The organization organizes trips around the world where the volunteers give away instant photos to people who don't have any or maybe a couple. I went to Cambodia with Print the Love and it was one of the best experiences of my life. I connected with individuals in parts of a country I never would have seen or known about. It is an amazing feeling to just spread love and kindness for just that reason only. No strings. Just eye to eye, smile to smile. They also loan cameras and give film to people traveling on their on. Great organization!”
